Bolton
Road United Reformed church is situated on the main road
from Bolton to Darwen about one mile from the town centre.
The church has a small but very friendly and warm fellowship
who care and pray for each other on a very regular basis.
The
Sunday worship is free and very flexible, with a time
of prayer for the members, their families and the community
in which the church is set. The care extends into the
homes of the church people plus the community and is a
very helpful way of Christian service. The active younger
members of the church work for various professions and
during their busy lives share the gospel the best way
that they can. The Womens Guild meets regularly; and a
Bible Study group has just started with the neighboring
churches. Bolton Road is committed to ecumenism and supporting
financially various good works throughout the world.
