Peter
has oversight of Bolton Road URC and has the responsibility
for liaising and conducting school assemblies for the
Partnership within Darwen. He was ordained as a non-stipendiary
URC minister in 1978, having completed his training on
a part-time basis. During the last 20 years he has at
times either had pastoral responsibility for Bolton Road
Church or been supportive of the full time ministry within
the group of URC's in Darwen. Peter is married to Susan,
a Teacher, and has two sons. Peter enjoys sports, but
no longer participates as he once did. However he does
have an affinity with Blackburn Rovers in spite of their
changing fortunes, which has stood the test of time over
the last 45 years.
