I
was born in London and grew up near Croydon in Surrey.
After graduating from the Roehampton Institute in 2000
with a Theology and Religious Studies degree, I prepared
for the United Reformed Church ministry at Westminster
College, Cambridge. The Darwen Partnership is my first
call as an ordained Minister.
I am a child of the ecumenical movement so committed to
establishing points of contact and developing relationships
between the different parts of the Christian tradition.
At various points in my past, I have worshiped in Anglican,
Catholic, Methodist as well as URC churches and have enjoyed
the variety that this has brought. I am interested in
what makes people tick and in encouraging people of all
ages to look for (and find) God in everyday life and in
ordinary things.
Other interests include travel - I spent some of my ministerial
training at Columbia Seminary, Atlanta, USA and on placement
with the Council for World Mission in the Cuvu Methodist
circuit, Fiji. I enjoy cooking, the outdoors and spending
time with friends and family.
