Version 5.01 released 22 November 2010
This version addresses an issue encountered by a small number of users where PlanMaker will not allow changes to the Plan and shows no Preachers available for all Services that haven't already got one. This should not now happen but, if it does, a function has been added that will prompt the user that PlanMaker needs to rebuild its data structures and the problem will then be corrected automatically.
There are some mainly cosmetic changes to the Preacher Availability and Associations Dialogs, and the behaviour of the checkboxes in the Add and Edit Preacher Dialogs has been changed. The latter means that, if the Reserved box is checked, then all other options are disabled; this is because these options have no relevance if a Preacher is reserved, and can cause problems when dealing with these Preachers.
An issue with the importing of Availability Forms has been corrected; the "Swap Preachers" item in the Services pop-up menu has been removed, and this feature is no longer supported.
Version 5.00 released 3 November 2009
This version represents a major overhaul of the way the Application works, although many of the changes are invisible to the user, and it contains a number of new or modified features. The installer places the required files in c:\Program Files\Planmaker rather than c:\Planmaker, and transfers your data files to your Documents Folder. Note that version 1.10 of the Preacher Records Application is not compatible with this version of PlanMaker and you should download and install version 1.11, which is now available.
Version 4.53 released 27 June 2007
WinHelp, which was used for PlanMaker and thousands of other applications, does not ship with Windows Vista and the Help System has been changed to use HTML Help, which is compatible with all versions of Windows. There are no other changes to the functionality of the application.
